Most of my furniture and woodwork is completed on commission. That is, clients contact me with a desire they wish to fulfill. We settle on a design, more or less together, and I make the piece. The client pays me for the time and materials devoted to creation of the work. Now and then I produce a piece on my own when I find a design compelling, and later offer it for sale.
